Message	I had the same problem. After about 6 years of passing I had the problem where they saw the headers so my car would fail the visual. So I went to the wrecking yard and bought some exhaust shields off of 2 different Ford escorts and modified them a bit and used plumbers strapping and covered the headers with the shields. I used old screws in the screw holes so they would match the old shields. You cant see the headers anymore but either can they. It passes every time.
